Call of Duty Black Ops 3 was released on 6 November 2015, developed by Treyarch and published by Activision. This game is the fourth game in the Black Ops series, following Call of Duty: World at War, Call of Duty: Black Opsand Call of Duty: Black Ops II. The game received positive reviews from critics.
Call of Duty Black Ops 3 Campaign
Call of Duty Black Ops 3 is set 40 years after the events of Black Ops 2 (this game follows its events). The year is now 2065 and technology is embedded on the battlefield. This campaign is available to the Xbox One, PS4 and PC. You will have access to all missions, and will be able to play them in any order.
Call of Duty Black Ops 3 Multiplayer
Multiplayer has evolved since Black Ops II with the same spirit. Players can now wall-run, power slide, boost jump etc. Swimming and underwater shooting has been added as a new way to approach the battle. The boost jumps function like exo-jumps from Advanced Warfare. The boosted jumps deliver drifts and curves.
The Pick 10 system from Black Ops 2 has returned, and the 10 points will be used for picking Guns, Tacticals, Lethals, Attachments, Wildcards and Perks. Players will have a lot of freedom in customization, allowed to put up to 6 attachments on a weapon in the Gunsmith. This does not cover Scorestreaks.
In addition to the Pick 10 customization, the player plays as one of nine characters, called Specialists. The nine playable specialists are: Ruin, Seraph, Outrider, Reaper, Prophet, Nomad, Battery, Spectre and Firebreak.
Each specialist gives players the option of taking a power weapon or a special ability into battle. These weapons and abilities have the potential to be game-changers. Each Specialist also has their own personality, shouting quotes and orders in the field. The player is also able to pick taunts and gestures for their characters.
The Gunsmith is another element of Black Ops 2 multiplayer, that give players even more choices to customize weapons. It allows them to choose how attachments look and apply custom camouflages and paintjobs to weapons.
Zombies
Zombies mode returns in this game. Zombies was briefly teased at the end of the reveal trailer.
